This is a job that i was putting of for a long time and wasn t looking forward to it. Replacing door hinge pins. It s a know fact that the mustang doors are heavy and the hinges take a lot of punishment especially when they are left open as the weight pulls on the hinges. There are 4 bolts on the outside if the hinge.

Right lower door hinge 2000 mustang. Put the new bushings in and have the helper lift the door in place so that you can slide the new pin in. You will see a little bolt that will remove the wiring harness aside. Once the old pin is out lower the door and tap out the old bushings.
