Make sure mechanical is chosen in the drop down menu and that ring my in home doorbell is selected to on position to the right. I replaced the doorbell chime with a heath zenith 2735 from the approved list same issue. But then one of the ring pro s started going offline due to low voltage. My doorbell 2 wired to a byron 776 started buzzing this morning out of the blue emailed ring and finally rang them as the delay to responds to my email was too long spoke to a guy in usa who stated that the chime was at fault and i should use a ring recommended one i explained that it was he didnt beleive me and sent me a link of approved door bells funny enough the byron 776 was on the list and i made sure i pointed it out to the guy whilst he was still on the phone.
